“Not Wearing Corrective Lenses And Speeding 83-50”

I just got a ticket for speeding (83km in a 50km zone) as well as not wearing corrective lenses, It happened in Ottawa. Any chance that I can fight this in court? Any pointers? Thank you!

You'll also want to request disclosure and see what the actual evidence against you is for more specific advice on defense strategies. Another option is to try and get a plea deal, such as agreeing to plead out to the licence restriction charge in exchange for the speeding being dropped.

How bad is your eye sight? How were you driving then if you could not see? My point is that if you can drive with out corrective lenses maybe go back to the MTO and do the test again to get the restriction off your licence. Otherwise think you should just do a plea.
