Hta 182 (2) Ticket

Unread post by rayray1 »

i am new to this forum so please bare with me....

i got a ticket today making a left turn where a left turn cannot be made from 4-6pm mon-fri. i got the ticket @ 4:30

when the officer wrote the ticket, does the ticket have to be in my name?

my problem is that the officer place the name of the ownership of the car and not the driver of the car.

the officer place the owners name on the ticket but put my drivers lincence number on the ticket.

should i fight the ticket?

I would not fight "every" ticket....can't argue with father-in-law when he hands a plane ticket for Dominican.....*checking* hey wait a minute...there is no return flight  guess the good side ...no more shovelling snow :D

so it is worth fighting for?

do you think that counts as a fatal error since the ticket was for someone who was not present when the ticket was given. means the ticket was missing drivers name? [fatal error includes: Defendant name missing ]

but then again all the other info: birthday, sex, drivers licence number is correct. the name was just completely wrong, it was not just a spelling mistake, it was a whole other name.

would this count as a fatal error?
