Parking Ticket - Trial (non)-notification By Mail

Unread post by Politzky »

I received a parking ticket in Toronto Dec 20, 2009. When I filed for a trial date, the clerk at Metro Hall told me to expect something in the mail by July, notifying me of a date and location. July has come and gone, and so, soon, shall August.

What is my obligation and/or recommended course of action?

I have about 10 in limbo like yours.

There is a provision to revoke tickets more then 100 km away.

But they do not tell you lol.

Pay it if you are worried.

What me worry? No plans to pay unless I'm found guilty. Just wondering if I might see a conviction registered against me when I go to renew my drivers licence next time round. Is there a way to check my own record without actually reminding them about this particular ticket?
