Sufficient Disclosure Period?
Hello everyone, I did a search but I couldn't find an answer to my question.
Is there a minimum amount of time the Crown has to provide you with disclosure before the trial date?
My situation is this, I have a trial date on Nov. 23 and I received disclosure on Nov. 9. Counting the 9th and the 23rd makes it 14 days.
I requested disclosure at the beginning of June 2010, received nothing up to October 2010 at which point I submitted a second request for disclosure landing me where I am now.
Any insight would be appreciated, thanks.

I do not believe there is any minimum time...it just has to be "reasonable". If you feel it is not, then your remedy is to request an adjournment to give you opportunity to review the disclosure.
