160 On 407
I just got my first ticket for stunt driving and I have absolutely no idea what is going to happen to me now
I have my G and until today a clean record... My license has been suspended for 7 days and I have a court date for my ticket... Can anyone please tell me what I'm suppose to do/ say when I go in? And What will happen to my insurance? Will they cancel it because of this?
Any sort of advice will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Due to the seriousness of this charge, I personally would seek legal representation. There is a form at the bottom of the page that will link you to a paralegal. Good luck.

I would follow Reflections' advice.
Unless you really want to go in and plead guilty, you really should seek some sort of legal advice. You may be able to plea-bargain to speeding 49-over, but many insurance companies consider that to be a serious speeding offence. Insurance-wise, there is a possibility of getting your rates doubled, or your coverage terminated, for this particular offence. That said, your insurance will only be affected if you are either convicted or plead guilty. If you do get convicted, you will be looking at a further licence suspension and a minimum fine of $2000, in addition to the insurance issues. Chances are, a plea bargain is your best bet here, but there may be some options that are available to you. Most paralegal services offer a free consultation, so I'd talk to a few of them before making a commitment.
