“Electronic Early Resolution Meeting Notice...what To Do?”

I got a speeding ticket in May 2012 on OPP highway Niagara. I live in Toronto

The ticket was reduced to 115kmh in a 100kmh zone. $52.50 fine

I have a scheduled telephone call with a Prosecutor in December 2012. I'm basically trying to get this ticket cancelled either by delaying or hopefully thinking the cop might not show up. I know its taking a chance. Do i tell the prosecutor I want to go to trial? ..and If I do, can i still pay the fine up until my court date? Do i ask for disclosure documents now?

You can make a request for disclosure in writing and sent to the prosecutor's office of the appropriate courthouse.

I don't know how you expect to have the ticket canceled as a result of delays... pretty weak strategy bro. Same with the officer not showing up. My advice would be during the conversation with the prosecutor, see what kind of amended charge they can offer you and if it's acceptable, go for it. FYI you can't say you will go to trial and then, upon conviction, be granted the lesser amended fine/charge.
