Should I Apply To Set Aside?
Hi,
I got a ticket for speeding (no demerit points because it was caught in a camera) but I could not check the mail. There was a trial for it, which I missed unknowingly. I recently got a mail saying that I have been convicted for it and have to pay a fine, which I can pay online. I also have an option to set it aside. I known I did speed and the set aside form tells that I can apply to set aside and then plead guilty. I am thinking what is the advantage of applying to set aside and then plead guilty as opposed to just paying the fine online right now. I would be grateful to get your answer. Thanks.
Re: Should I Apply To Set Aside?
You can't be issued a ticket for speeding in Ontario from a camera.
