Speeding 110 On 100 Zone
Good evening every one.
I got speeding ticket on july 1st,2013 while driving 144 kmh on 100 limit.officer being nice to me charged me for 110 kmh with only 40$ fine and no points.i live in Mississauga, but ticket location is Kingston.do i still need to go and appear or just pay for it.will it still affect my record.does it worth hiring paralegal.actually i don,t know if it is minor or can hurt my insurance.any suggestions plz. Thanks
Re: Speeding 110 On 100 Zone
You can just pay it if you want to and there is no need to appear in Kingston. Any ticket has the potential to raise insurance rates depending on your record and your insurance company. If you decide to fight it, you or your agent must appear in Kingston for the trial however, the prosecutor will bump the ticket back up to the original speed of 144 km/h
