Obtaining G Licence Before Prosecution Of G2 Violation
I have repeatedly proved I should read the laws more closely and be more mindful.
Violation 1: G1 violation; driving with a drunk escort. 30 day suspension.
Violation 2: G1 violation; driving without an escort. 90 day suspension.
Violation 3: G2 violation; BAC above zero (warn level between 0.5 and 0.. 3 day automatic suspension
I am now at risk of losing my licence upon successful prosecution.
What I want to know is, what happens if I let my case go for a few months while I obtain my full licence?
Can I get my full licence by asking for a full discourse, then setting a court date then passing my test? Will my licence be taken away upon successful prosecution?
I fully assume that I will lose, because I thought being under 25 was the only time there is a zero BAC limit.
Re: Obtaining G Licence Before Prosecution Of G2 Violation
I believe the evil plan will work in this case. Anything currently before the courts cannot count against you until you are convicted so if you were to pass a full G in the mean time you will have a full G with all of the privileges (up to 15 demerit points) upon your conviction. But don't get too cocky, because with that kind of record I would think you will certainly have trouble getting reasonably priced insurance in the future.

You sound like someone that should NOT have the privilege to drive! G1 you had issues, driving with someone that was drunk! Then driving alone! Then drinking and driving! Hope you fail your G.

Thank you for the vote of confidence admin. My 20 years of driving experience, and spotless criminal record should be considered I think. My stupidity in moving to a small town with a population of 100 for three years and letting my licence expire has been a big headache.

20 years of driving and you didn't get your G?

I find this totally incredible and disgusting that you, as the admin of this board, presumably working for x-copper, would deride someone coming to your company's board for help - it's my understanding that this board is a place for people worried about whatever traffic ticket is concerning them to come to for help, assistance, and maybe even a little empathy - that, however, seems not to be the case with you.
So, what's up with the 'tude - this guy has a legitimate concern and all you've done is criticize - regardless of your personal problems with this guy, in my opinion you should have provided a proper response rather than ridicule someone who appears out of their depth re their pon(s).
Then, to compound matters, you do it again two posts below.
What's your problem? As the admin you have a responsibility to those who come here, register, and seek advice.
If that's too much of a problem, and it obviously is, you should pack it in and let someone else take on the job as you, obviously are not up to it - and, in that light I fully expect you to delete my account - and to that end I have captured all that has transpired here for later use.
You are a total disgrace to you yourself, x-copper, me, and the poor guy looking for advice.

I am not here to be nice, I'm not sorry if you don't like my comment. I started this board to help people with traffic tickets, not people looking to cheat the system to get away with drinking and driving.
I'm not just the admin I own this site. Good luck replacing me.
Re: Obtaining G Licence Before Prosecution Of G2 Violation
Greetings,
Admin, am understanding your initial reply correctly? If a driver is a G2 holder, gets a ticket, that by itself or in combination with previous convictions is greater than 4 points - so long as they obtain their G license prior to the conviction of the most recent charge, they will not be suspended for 30 days under the escalating sanctions.
Thank you for the clarification.
