Vision Waiver Program
Hi Everyone.
First post here and I apologize if this has been covered somewhere already but I couldn't find anything when searching for vision waiver.
I'm curious to know if anyone else on here is currently a participant in the Ontario vision waiver program and if so does it ever go away? As in is there any way back out of it?
I'm currently under the vision waiver but don't believe that I should be and I'm having difficulty finding any lawyers that even know anything about it.
Re: Vision Waiver Program
Here's a link to the MTO with a contact number for the Driver Improvement Office..

Thank you but I've talked to them extensively. It's simply a call centre and they don't actually know anything about the law. I even spoke directly with a medical analyst who wasn't helpful. It seems they've been given a specific script and cannot deviate from it. There's also no place to talk to anyone in person.
The whole program seems very strange. It seems like once you're in it, there's no way out.
