Attendance (travel) Money For Summons To Witness
Hi all,
I received a summons to witness for a minor violation of the provincial highway traffic act. The thing is, the court location is over 400km from my residence and I didn't receive any kind of allowance when I was served the document. Does this omission render the summons invalid.
Thanks!
Re: Attendance (travel) Money For Summons To Witness
Generally, witnesses who come from out of town are reimbursed for travel expenses. You can contact the courts and inquire about this.
