Fail To Surrender Permit: 7 (5) (a)
Hi everyone, first post. I did not have my ownership on me (neither the copy) when I was pulled over by OPP. Received a $110 for fail to surrender permit.
Is this considered a moving violation? Essentially what I need to know is will this impact my insurance premium. I'm with Belair.
I did a search online and on this board and could not figure out whether this counts as a moving violation or a minor conviction.
And if I'm out of luck, is my best bet to contact Belair directly? Many thanks in advance.

I would contact your insurance company and ask them directly how it will affect your insurance.
But a lot of times the prosecutor might drop it anyways if you ask nicely and show original.
