international brake awarness week for commercial vehicles

by the CVSA.

as some may be unaware, the CVSA (Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance) Canada-United States and Mexico under the National Safety Code determine out of service criteria

www.cvsa.org

that means under the CVSA, weigh scales and mobile MTO Commercial Vehicle Enforcement will be out "educating" commercial drivers and enforcing brake adjustment.

out of adjustment brakes account for the majority of tickets issued at weighstations.

today the MTO was working along Victoria Avenue between Brock Road and Thickson, plus the Scalehouse was open all day
