Disobey Stop Sign Failed To Stop

Unread post by amypio »

Hi,

I was driving down a street in Brampton. I drive through this street at least 4 times a day, my child's school is on this street.

I stopped at the stop sign. No traffic, no pedestrians.

Stopped for like 3 or 4 seconds and then proceeded through.

All of a sudden I hear these sirens and i see this unmarked cop car behind me.

This cop does not have a life. I see him there 4 out of 7 days a week.

Anyway, he asks to see my license etc, my car is less than 1 month new and i forgot to put the insurance slips in the glovebox. So anyway, I give him ownership and license. He goes back to his car and I get a ticket for 110 bucks. (Yes I know he couldve given me a ticket for not having the insurance slips with me)

Anyway, I'm fighting this ticket.

The cop car was parked in a side street with a partial view of the stop sign. I know this for a fact.

Question is: Do I take pictures to show that he had an impeded view? He hasnt marked off the form but I dont believe that there were any witnesses.

Also I had a speeding ticket 65 in a 50 zone in 2003.

Other than that, nothing.

You can attend prosecution office and they will provide you with a disclosure request form. Fill it up and ensure you get stamped copy of your request.
