“Failure To Show Insurance Card”

Hi

I just got pulled over today and I coulnt find my insurance card to show it to the officer.The officer gave me a fine for not showing my insurance card. Although I did find the insurance card later on that day in the glove box between some papers. Can I fight this charge somehow? Any advise Please.

By your description, the offence was complete at the time you were stopped, but you may be able to resolve this with the crown by a withdrawal or reduction.
