Failing To Show Pink Insurance Card
hi
I got a ticket for "failure to show insurance card" (which technically is true) and CAIA s 2 1 a was specified with a fine of $65.
However, the correct section for not showing the valid pink insurance card is 3, not 2.
The fine is correct, the section is not.
Is this a fatal error?
Thank you
Re: Failing To Show Pink Insurance Card
Definitely not a fatal error as long as the substance of the offence is correct. “ Fail to have insurance card or Fail to surrender insurance card”
