Help - Convicted By Mail - But Had Requested Court Date
Today in the mail I received a "notice of fine and due date" for a ticket that I received in November. My husband had submitted my request for a court date prior to the due date for the original ticket. The ticket was received in Kitchener and the request for court date was made in Scarborough. I have a stamped version of my ticket. Is it possible that the original request didn't make it to Kitchener yet?
Do I have to go to the POA office again to show them the ticket and re-request the court date? Do I have to do this in Kitchener or can I do it in Scarborough again?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
Re: Help - Convicted By Mail - Reopening Question
I went back to Ticketcombat and have determined I need to request a reopening because my request for trial doesn't seem to have been processed.
Question -- I live in Toronto. Can my sister submit this request in Kitchener for me or do I have to do it since an affidavit has to be submitted?
tx for any help you can provide.
